Reading Energy Bus to my Daughter

November 7th, 2007 Posted in The Energy Bus

My daugher who is 9 recently asked if i would read her Energy Bus at bed time. So each night we have been reading a new chapter. It’s been a lot of fun and she says cute things like “Daddy, how did you think of all these things.” I tell her that often i didn’t think. Many times the ideas just came to me. I prayed each morning as i walked and amazingly new ideas would pop into my head. But the other night was the kicker. I asked her if i can reread a chapter and she said “It doesn’t matter what you read. I’m just glad we are reading together.” To me that says it all. Being her Dad is the best job i could ever have.
