| Her smile lit up a room and her love touched everyone she met...
Nancy Nicolosi, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend lost her hard fought battle with small cell cancer and peacefully passed away on Monday, October 2nd 2006. She was 59.
Mrs. Nicolosi was born in Queens, NY and split her time between Pompano Beach and Nesconset, NY for 10 years before becoming a full time South Florida resident last year.
She succeeded at many jobs in her 59 years including Secretary for the Boy Scouts of America, Account Executive for Kraft Foods, Face Model for Christian Dior, and Newspaper Sales Representative for the Smithtown News. After putting herself back in school at age 48, she graduated from Suffolk Community College and quickly became Director of Recreation for Senior Quarters on Long Island. Lastly, she became one of Palm Aire’s top Real Estate Agents always putting her clients’ needs ahead of her own. In every career she ever had, she always made others envious of her determination and inner strength.
Passionate about exercise... she could be found walking the paths of Palm Aire on a daily basis and usually exhausted friends and family half her age. Nancy had many interests but her main focus in life was her family. She loved her family more than anything in the world and would relish the Holidays when everyone could be together.
She is survived by her loving husband Joe; and her children Kathy, Donna, David, Joey, and Jonathan. Her 15 grandchildren were her angels... and now, an angel herself, she will be able to watch over them every minute of every day.
To be friends with Nancy was to truly know the definition of loyalty and trust and honor.
She will be loved and missed more than words could ever say.
